NASCAR Burnout Competition: Greg Biffle Wins One For The Animals

By Jen Dunnaway

The burnout competition was a new addition to the NASCAR All-Star festivities this year, and it was a blast. Five top drivers faced off in similarly prepared Richard Petty Driving Experience cars—and up for grabs was $10,000 for the winning driver’s chosen charity. Nice guy Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 Ford, scored the win for the Greg Biffle Foundation, a major contributor to no-kill animal shelters and spay/neuter programs. Way to scorch those tires for a great cause, Greg!

The All-Star opening festivities are continuing as we speak—check out Speed to catch the start of the race!

What is it about burnouts that we all love watching? Maybe it’s the smell maybe it’s the complete disregard for the environment or maybe it’s just us enjoying seeing somebody else blow through $$$$ in tires at their expense and not yours…

The Video for this Competition is here:

Pretty funny to watch.
Thanks for sharing, Jen.
