What’s Your Favorite Ferrari?

Ferrari has been in the news a lot lately. A 1961 250 GT California just sold for close to $11 million dollars, making it the most expensive car of all time. And last week Ferrari released pics of their new California. Then I was looking pics from this weekend’s Concorso Ferrari 2008 show in Pasadena, where there were at least five 512BBs, and I was thinking, the 512 really is my favorite Ferrari (I admit that I waffle a bit from time to time). I mean, I think the new stuff is cool, I like pretty much everything from the 50s and 60s, and I love the looks of the 246 Dino, but the 512BB just does it for me. What’s your favorite?

Mine would be the 348TS. I know, an odd choice since it is essentially a mini 512, but definitely my fav.

288 GTO preferably in yellow with F40 LM as a close second and way after that a 550 Maranello in black.

This will take you back a few decades, but my favorite is the ‘66/’67 275GTB/GTC. Absolutely classic Ferrari style, but with a very well done copying of the ‘61/’62 Corvette rear end. Back then, Ferraris looked real good with Borrani wire wheels too. I wish they’d explore ‘retro’ by fitting current cars with them, at least as an option.
