DUB Atlanta: We’ve Got the Pics
By John Coyle
Editor
Along with Miami, Atlanta has a reputation for being one of the hottest stops on the DUB tour, and as expected, there were a ton of dope rides on the floor. The paint on this Atlanta-themed Caprice is easily some of the best I’ve seen all year—the level of detail is over-the-top—and the custom wheels are totally sick. Another one of my favorites was this insane Nova SS. Do you think that gigantic blower delivers enough power? Along with the cars, there were a bunch of sweet bikes on display, check out the clean lines and awesome color scheme on this Harley. Unlike a lot of custom bikes, this one actually looks like it might not be a complete handful on the road. Head over to our events section and check out the rest of the pics!

In regards to Erics comment. Please read my post! I am not hating on the cars, this particular car culture, or Cardomains photographer. My problem lies with the Dub event staff and the lack of organization and planning that went into this years show. Not only that, but the spectators seemed to have a lack of respect for everything. There was a BBQ company selling food, and people were just dropping the bones and trash on the floor as they walked around. The floor was completely littered with rib bones, half empty coke cups, and thousands of music promo flyers.
I attended Dub ATL last year and had a great time and fully enjoyed the show. This year was not the case. There were too many individual groups playing music too loud at the same time. This process makes for a constant lound mull that is completly ruins and recognition of each parties music. Last year’s show included many more companies with fun booths and a lot of products displays relevant to this industry. There was not one single audio company with a booth. Alpine did have cars there, but their product was not on display and no information about the brand was supplied. This makes no sense in a show that focuses so much on wheels and bass. Last year MTX and Pioneer had huge displays including several demo cars.
Please do not label me as a “hater” for not liking a dirty noisy mess.

Why are you complaining, I looked at the pics and thought this was one of the better shows, Like the STRUT 7-SERIES! or the electric blue charger, or the silver and black stang on 2’s, OR better yet the FLYING SPUR with the MTX system in it! Please cardomain.com don’t lose the DUB show pics I love looking at them! Regardless everyone else its just not thier style so why hate so much? You spend your time working on your car! so do these people its just a difference of opinion, should they all talk shit about your work Im sure i could find something to say about your XB ADAM, but I really don’t want to hate cause its your own style! If i knew how to post the link I would show you my lexus, and let all you hate as much as your hearts can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some nice cars there, alot look the same though. The rims on the new Silverado are terrible, change them for a nice set of smaller diameter ones and she would look so much better. Nice pics nonetheless.

Sorry, but I thought this show was terrible. Last year was much better. There seemed to be nothing and nobody there this year showing. No booths, no vendors, and just a bunch of the same stuff we’ve seen for the past 2-3 years. The music was another problem. The sound quality and organization was all wrong. There was just a constant loudness that left speaking almost impossible. Sad to say, but this was my last dub show.
