Bring Back the Brat!

Those things rusted like nobody’s business. It was almost like the acid rain would melt them right before my eyes.

Fortunately if the brat makes a comeback, it’ll probably (hopefully) have something resembling corrosion protection.

Oh, and those jump seats in the back? Not a freaking chance they’ll be an OEM part… not these days.

Yeah Bring It Back!
I had a chance to get ahold of a 1979 Brat with about 35,000 miles on it a couple years back, but I passed it up because it had been sitting outside since 1987 with a blown head gasket because the dumba$$ owner kept driving it after he blew the upper radiator hose on a hot day and the rust had made it unsaveable.

So the Baja isn’t close enough for you? I seriously doubt they’d make another “ute-type” vehicle with one already in their stable.

Please don’t. If anything, bring back (an updated version of) the SVX with the flat-six. That was a semi-cool car.
