Half Motorcycle, Half Robot Concept Looks Sick
By John Coyle
Editor
Most of the time, I think vehicles with three wheels are lame. But design student Jake Loniak’s Deus Ex Machina Concept is cool enough to make me look beyond that. While I still don’t think it should be called a motorcycle—after all, motorcycles have two wheels—I love the whole robot thing that’s happening here. Sure, the stance looks sketch, and the incorporated helmet looks like an awesome way to receive a spinal cord injury, but nothing is perfect. Maybe I’m just willing to overlook those shortcomings because I’d love to own a motorcycle that transforms into a robot, and this is the closest thing I’ve seen.

wouldn’t the integrated helmet actually prevent spinal cord injuries?
