I liked Valiants too. In 1961 my dad bought a brand new red two-door coupe. That model year (and in 1962) it was a true hardtop and looked good with all four windows rolled down. Ours had the 225 slant six with push-button torqueflite. It wasn't blindinly fast, but it was quicker than Vegas and Falcons. Of those two model years, the '62 was actually a better looking car but you don't see either anymore.</p> </div>
