This Just In: New on the Net

Last night, one of the guys here watched a couple of drunken idiots knock over his motorcycle while driving away from a club. He got the plate number, but guess what? The cops won’t do anything about it. How much does that suck? Anyway, here’s the news:
- Someone in Moscow has been randomly setting fire to cars. So far, no Russian domestics have been set aflame, so the mysterious arsonist is probably trying to make a statement. Just another reason to spring for garage parking. English Russia
- Ma Mopar’s plan to cap gas prices doesn’t seem to be reeling in the customers. Maybe they should just try giving people guns. What could go wrong? Jalopnik
- Here’s a cool gadget that’s certain to get you in trouble: Autoloc’s Hidden License Plate Kit. Just hit a switch and your digits slide out of view. While gear like this is cool for Bond’s ride, he also has a license to kill. CarScoop
- Lots of Yanks who go to France come home talking about how much the locals hate Americans. But while they may hate people from the United States, some of them sure love our cars. Just look at what they go through to get them over there! New York Times
- While the gas deal might not be working out for Ma Mopar, a new survey proves they can build a car as fast a Toyota. Now, the only problem is figuring out how to sell them as fast. Motor Authority

Personally, I’d take the gas card. $250 wouldn’t even be enough for a DECENT gun.
