Truck Tree Branch Trajedy!
By John Coyle
Editor
The fear that something will happen to a prized show vehicle is something which nags at a lot of owners. And when the car—under some unfortunate circumstance—has be left on the street, it’s more than justifiable. But aside from someone laying their grubby hands on your ride, nobody really expects anything terrible to happen when it’s on display at an event. And that makes this video sting a lot more. Our condolences to the unlucky owner.

R.I.P?? Wtf its not even that bad. It needs some repair on the roof and a new door. Besides its not like its the vintage car beside it. Its like a 2000 F150. Not even that valuable. And btw shitface… im from toronto and i can see your necks red from here. Dodges are the worst cars ever mass produced. Im an import guy and i can even say that ima ford AND chevy guy.

It is voodoo. The flying invisible voodoo…”it” knows what its doing. 5 main bearing subes have the same omen. beware…oh wait. 99.9% of cars after 1972 have the same omen.. disregard the suby comment, unless it is saved, blessed and prohecied for another 1000 years…get a priest, or voodoo witch doctor, or your everyday heebee geebee specialist with Exorcists.

I loved watching the people flock to the truck like it was the scene of a grizzly murder

well, it doesn’t look like it was really all that bad or totaled or anything, insurance would probably cover it, and if the guy or gal that owned it had enough money to put into it, they probably have anough money to fix it. It sucks and all, but they made it look and sound like it was a complete loss, which as you can tell, it is far from. weird.

That sucks, but it could have been worse. Id rather have it hit a newer vehicle than one of the classics parked nearby. And thankfully no one was sitting in that chair. That truck would be easy to find parts for.

This is why I always would prefer to park my car under the sun than under the shade of a tree. Because aside from tree sap smudging and bird droppings on my paint, this is the greater risk I’ve always been thinking about. I feel sorry for the owner of that truck. Luck wasn’t on his side that bad day. Good, too, it wasn’t the classic ride parked beside it that was hit. It would have been a bigger OUCH.

At the risk of sounding insensitive (after having a tree limb fall 3 feet from my own car) I have to say it’s better it fell on the truck that the old iron next to it. At least the owner of the truck would be able to find replacement parts.

if that were me… 3:00 in the morning… the sound of a chainsaw starting… crack crack crack… huge thud… nobody or no thing… no exceptions.

Thank God it a Ford. Everyone knows Ford pickups are built tough. Some guys with show cars won’t park under a tree for fear that a pidgeon migh crap on it. That’s the least of this guys problem.

Yeah right Probably bent the door frame, and scuffed the paint a little! Its not like that thing is worth much look at the vehicle next to it, that would be a tragedy!

I have to admit I laughed whilst watching this video because of that music, it just made the video very comical. But you are right, it is very unlucky for this to happen and I do feel for the driver as I’m sure every other CD member does. It’s quite a thick branch aswell so it would have done some nasty damage not seen in the video.
