The Hot-Rodder’s Answer to the Smart Car?

Check out these street-legal bumper cars spotted at the Cruisin’ Grand show in Escondido, California. Reportedly they’re powered by a 750cc Kawasaki motor, mounted under the driver’s seat. One of them’s running the vanity plate "DMV OK"—gee, pulled over much? Check out the whole gallery after the jump.

Dare i say,`only in America!`….a saying we have here in South Africa,if we see something so extraordinary…lol….they are so cute!….reminds me of these Bump cars we had at playgrounds some years ago….worked with an eletric wire touching some kind of wirefence above which then kept the cars going…wish i could have one!

These are actually REALLY COOL!

’specially with the price of gas…(its above $4.50 a gallon for the cheap stuff here in Sacramento California)
