Homebuilt Electric DeLorean
By Jen Dunnaway

It doesn’t get much more white and nerdy than this: a DeLorean EV! Dave Delman, a medical doctor with degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering, built this fully-electric DeLorean in six months flat. The New York Times ran a story on it last week, and there’s some pretty hilarious video of him driving it here. Love it, but it needs a headliner! Take a look at this video of it autocrossing in the rain, and check out the car’s full specs at the EV album.

Hey, if Doc Brown can convert one with a fusion reactor, putting in an electric drive should be a breeze, and it dosen’t even need a lightning rod.
