Bullrun 2008: Project ANGRIER… IT’S ON!

Well boys and girls we made it but DAMN WAS IT CLOSE! As most of you know we’ve been working on a super secret insanity inducing project for this year’s Bullrun know as project ANGRIER. Work began immediately after last year’s Bullrun to shake things up a bit amongst the Bullrun natives, and man are we going to do just that. Our new car left on a transport truck on Saturday and we worked right down to the wire to get it done.
What did we do? Well, how’s this sound? How about a matte black 1969 Dodge Daytona with 500+ hp, 200 mph top end, 600 mile range, A/C, cruise control and dual-mounted 50 caliber machine guns! THATS RIGHT, I SAID MACHINE GUNS! (I’m totally kidding, but the rest is true).
We wanted to build something that was specifically designed for long distance road rallies and we did just that. You see back in January I decided that I wanted to follow my life’s dream, so I quit my job and started MR. ANGRY INC, a company based on the premise of building cars that should be driven and DRIVEN HARD! As you can see our first project is now finished and will be rolling as the lead car for TEAM ANGRY.
John Coyle of CarDomain will be running with us this year and man o man is he in for a big surprise! I can’t wait to get John in the passenger seat of the Daytona as I am sure he’ll give everyone an honest impression of the rally (although he may need new shorts by the end!).
So with that being said, take a look at ANGRIER, tell me what you think and check back to CarDomain on a daily basis for blogs from me and John. It’s going to be one hell of a fun week.

this car is absolutly beatiful it looks so good and must be so fast, i didnt think you could top the 68 charger but damn you got it done 4 sure, good luck, i’m cheering for ya!!

Love it Love it Love it, but please do not tell me that Mr. Angry has been put in the garage to rest. We’ll see him this year on the BullRun right? There were rumors going around that you were going to have a team of 4 cars. Is it true and will Mr. Angry be a part of that? hope to see you next year on the BR. i begged the management for a job on the Run, they said they would be in touch but you know what that means. keep up the awsome work I can’t wait to see more creations from Mr. ANGRY INC.

I am still in AWE of that car! Seriously, I had no idea how you would “out do” your awesome ‘68 charger, but you did it!! That is an amazing car!! I can’t wait to see video of you approaching 200mph!!! go get em!

What can you tell us about the aerodynamics of your Daytona? Is that a enlarged fuel cell that you can see in the rear pics or is that the trunk pan? If its a fuel cell isn’t that a lot of weight in the rear? How does it perform? I realize you likely didn’t have much time to test but I’m hoping to see some good video of this things early on in the Bullrun!

Angrier = 1970 Daytona Wing Car, Black, Air brushed “realistic” flames on the nose and wing, 20inch foose nitrous wheels, and a 426 HEMI Blown. The only way you can get an “Angrier” looking Mopar.

So do I win some sort of prize for guessing this thing back in AUGUST OF 2007 or what ? Obviously there are slight differences to my perdiction but its damn close wouldnt you say.
