Bullrun Invades Calgary!

"You have no idea what you’re in for." That’s what I kept hearing at the pub last night, whenever I told Bullrun veterans that this was my first rally. Should I be nervous? From what I can figure, the answer is an unqualified yes. But to hell with it! The only way to do this rally is to jump in with both feet, so that’s my plan. I can sleep when I get home. Or when I die, whichever comes first. As you can imagine, the caliber of cars here is ridiculous. Along with Claus Ettensberger’s insane fighter-plane-themed GT2, right now, there are two Ferrari 430s, a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Spyker, the Team Angry Audi R8, a super-trick 928, and a brand-new Aston Martin DBS parked in front of the hotel. And from the sounds of it, I’m going to get to ride in all of them. Hell. And. Yes. I have to run downstairs and get registered, but check out pics of all the cars after the jump.

I was just biking today in downtown when i came across a whole load of these cars, i heard bullrun was in canada but didnt think calgary, i was shocked, sickest cars ever! Mr.Angry’s car was in the parking lot beside the hotel and couldnt see it very well but damn did it look sick. AMAZING CARS! got a sneak peak on Mcloud trail with the black audi R8 and it looks faaaasttt
this should be interesting!

I work just down the street from the hotel they are parked in front of, and I saw that F430 driving down 11 Ave on my ride home from work. I wish I had known they were all parked there, I would’ve excused myself for an extra long coffee break.

Calgary! Thats an hour and a half away from me.. too bad i can’t travel there just to see the cars

I saw the Techart Porsche in the blogs yesterday and freaked. That thing is sick! I fell in love with it a year ago when it was first built, then a drooled on it at SEMA 2007 and the fact that you now get to chase, embrace, and rally with or around it for a week truly makes me jealous!
