Wiji Earns First Arrest of the 2008 Bullrun Award!

Every year, people doing the Bullrun get arrested. Generally, it has something to do with local police not approving of visitors to their jurisdictions hitting triple-digits speeds on public roads. But fortunately, getting taken into custody isn’t always a huge hassle. Case in point: While Wiji did wind up handcuffed in the back of a squad car after getting popped for doing 120 in a 75 zone, he was able to post his $600 bail on the spot, which saved him a trip to the slammer. And while a burly speeding charge like that sometimes involves appearing in court, for those not planning on returning to the state, it’s not terribly important to show.

If you show back up in that state, records if written can of course nab you. Today, and even several past decades proved to be well written and kept.
A relative quite a few years ago called home, (truckdriver) and stated he was in jail for a 15 year old speeding ticket….over a thousand miles from home. They don’t forget, even if it was “the old days” of integrity…the truckdriver just kept working, forgot about ticket. even passed through the state of ticket many times for 15 years afterwards.

Isn’t the Bullrun supposed to be an organized run? Aren’t there arrangements done by the organizers with the different police jurisdictions in order to avoid apprehensions of this kind? Sorry, I’m not familiar with the way this run goes. Just wondering…and asking…

If you fail to show they will suspend your license, issue a warrant for your ass, forward it to your state’s DMV, and eventually the police will stop you and find you have a warrant and suspended license.
I’m sure he’ll have his lawyers take care of everything without even showing.

Dude, can we get a full breakdown on that R8? IS it wrapped or just a deep gray color? What other mods does it have and how is the ride?

What happens if you go back into the state, after not turning up to court?
