This Just In: New on the Net

John just called me from the side of the road in Utah. He and a female companion were pulled over in a black Lambo with no plates. Then he had to go. Here’s the news:

  • Toyota might miss their sales goal for 2008. Turns out that they’re having trouble selling trucks and SUVs, too. Autoblog.

GM is trying to off-load Hummer, as if someone else really wants to take on this money-losing albatross in this economy? Seems to make more economic sense to drop public sales and just focus on military applications again. Or did GM forget how that works?
