All yall just shutup about the Z06. I bought a GT-R about a month ago. My friend owns a Z06, and we have raced twice on the local track. I beat him in every type of race. Even he agrees that the GT-R is a way better car, and for a matter of fact, he is looking to trade in his vette for a GT-R as soon as he can find one.

I’m sorry i wasn’t thinking i guess. The corvette produces 505hp and 470tq using nothing but engine while the nissan requires 2 turbos to produce 480 hp and 430tq. Yes, I am now aware that that the nissan makes 25 less hp and 40 less tq than the corvette. I’m sorry. Also I was wrong about it “killing” gas. It actually gets 26mpg on the highway according to fueleconomy.gov My apologies to everyone.

the vette is a gas killing V8, that needs a V8 7.0L engine to give out 505hp and GT-R is a V6 with close to 500hp, that can be driven in all wheel or rear wheel drive. american’s just think about how big they can make the engine , but never think about gas efficiency, and with the gas soo high we need more gas efficient cars.

i love japanese technology, so for me it’s definitly GT-R
