Caption Contest: This Week's Winner!
By John Coyle
Editor
When this pic was chosen for the Caption Contest, I was out on the road. So I was as surprised as anyone to see it on the blog. And while I kind of want to know what this thing is for, I think I’d rather it stay a mystery—some things are just better that way. But enough rambling, it’s time to announce this week’s winner. Our first runner-up is Brian, who came up with: "Have you seen the new ‘trailer’ featuring Eddie Murphy?" Nice pun, buddy. And even thought it ‘s phrased more like a headline than a caption, Erik’s submission— "Macy’s Officially Runs Out of Ideas for Thanksgiving Day Parade Floats"— got us laughing, so we decided to award him second runner-up status. But this week, Scott bested everyone with: "For comparison, just up the road is a smart car hauling both his talent and genitalia." Tune in tomorrow for the next installment of our freakishly popular Caption Contest!

For anyone wondering what this thing is, i just saw an article with a huge picture, in my local paper. Says this thing is a promotional campaign for his new movie, its sitting in times square NY right now. Basically its just that head, with a base to hold it up.

Nice choice. Would of been good though to also pick someone who included a reference to one of his movies in the caption.
