The first car my wife and I bought together was an '84 Citation X-11.
.
Bought it used in '85 with only a few thousand miles.
.
We drove it for years, and then my dad bought it from us,
and he drove the wheels off of it. It had well over 250K
when he got rid of it.
.
That hatchback carried a lot of stuff with the back seat down.
.
It was pretty quick, for what it was, back in the day.
.
The little 2.8 V6 had a little growl to it, and the cowl hood
and rear spoiler was cool.
.
We liked that car a lot.
.
I rarely see a Citation today, and I never see X-11's around...
.
.
Dwayne's car is amazing!

Im suprised that an original owner would even want to modify the car after owning it that long. Good for him I guess. I hate the 3.1 Chevy V6 personally but thats because their gas guzzling, oil leaking, low hp excuses for a V6. Its just that motor that I hate. I would have rather seen a GTP Grand Prix 3800 supercharged instead. Way more reliable and loads more potential.
~
I digress.... Its a nice car.

that is a rare sight. The first impression for me with a fwd american with a screaming v6 was a coupe citation. To this day, all the problems that arose then, are only slightly hidden and still happen today..(the handling has ZERO cure to improve it). I wonder what he did with motor mounts. That model had my curiosity for a while...a very short lived while. The dodge aspen with a 318 slapped in where the slant 6 was got my attention...it seems to be a silent similar battle to this very car flunking day.I am glad in away someone did something with it. the citation was worse than many others...
