Miata Goes Swimming
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
I’m sure David Wallens will cry a little bit when he sees this photo. Apparently some lady forgot to put on the emergency brake when she parked her Miata, and the car rolled down the hill and into a neighbor’s pool. "Police and the tow truck driver estimated the car was going 40 mph before it hit the water." 40 mph? Must have been quite a hill. There’s a pic of the car being pulled out of the pool after the jump. York Daily Record via Jalopnik.

The Miata must’ve forgotten it’s water noodle at home before going swimming!

I like the first picture. I do not see any distraught faces, just people standing around the pool as if it is completely normal to see a car at the bottom of your pool. Now we know one thing, a Miata ain’t no VW. Those mini cars at least float.

Wow, that miata left a really small break in the fence, weird.

I think it was just a hot day and the Miata wanted to cool off.
