Photos From Back in the Day

There’s a great thread over at The Supercar Registry where people pasted in a bunch of pics from back in the day. This photo of a Southern Pacific "Auto-Pack" train passing Mt. Shasta on its way to Portland just kind of jumped out at me, but if you like old cars or street scenes, be sure to check out all the pics.

WOW! What an amzing collection of photos. Such history, almost brings a tear to my eye. Makes you realise how times have changed. Great thread!

I love this sort of stuff. It is also the reason why I love movies like Bullitt, it lets you see what traffic was like and what it was made of back then.

nice. ya know, i’d never thought about pictures of my own getting old…something as simple four square headlights, or even a couple of round ones, gets a second look. It is not everyday, not anymore. and the green factor, or black and white that went with all old photos is also the antique eye catcher, even as new as 20 years or so. I wonder what that does for cardomain…
