Dale Earnhardt Jr. Takes New Camaro For A Spin

By Jen Dunnaway

Check out this CNBC spot that shows Junebug throwing the 2010 Camaro around a test track in Australia. Pretty fun stuff, though it’s all kind of poignant in light of the news that GM is planning some aggressive trimming of its NASCAR budget. Thanks to Tim of camaro5 for the tip!

I think he meant that it feels just as fun to drive as the original Camaro. That is the idea in these retro cars.

I can’t tell if saying it has the feel of an old Chevelle or Camero is a compliment or not. When you buy a modern remake of an old car, would you be happy or pissed about it having that “retro” feel in the driving department?

Im sure GM engineers are pretty pissed to hear that the car feels like an old Chevelle or Camaro. Im sure they designed it to handle much better than that.

Fantastic. Great to see the Camaro and Dale racing around the track here in Oz. Looks like he is putting the Camaro through its paces, and how fun that must of been! Nice video, good post.
