New Challenger Not Flying Off Dealer Lots

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Despite reports that 2008 Challengers were "sold out," there are plenty of unsold Challengers out there (746 by the last count on AutoTrader.com). Perhaps absurd dealer markups like the one below have something to do with it… Source: Automotive News and VWVortex.

i hope that dodge dont make many of them like charger or magnum. That is another way to keep the vehicle desirable

Dang……that is criminal. They will not move the car with that charge on it, I mean it is nice, but not THAT nice. Especially with the ’09’s coming fairly soon…..

WOW! I thought $10 grand was a high mark up on the Z06s we sold in Cali.

That price is too much and yeah, the timing really sucks now with the economy bogging down under the unjust weight of inflation due to oil speculators.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. The ADM charge is 100 times want I paid for my toy van (’97 Astro). Looking forward to finding one in a parking lot, so I can park Grumpy the BA/BE Rally van next to it.

Lol, WTF is an “ADM” charge? and why is it $25,000?! I would take one look at that, laugh… then walk to my car and leave.

that is painful. given proportianetly what you get in return, the price isn’t that bad. that says alot.
