This Just In: New on the Net
This video of a dinosaur loose in the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History is pretty awesome. Does this thing look real or what? And why didn’t they have stuff like this when I was a kid? Anyway, here’s the news:
- Bentley is set to debut a laptop, and unsurprisingly, it doesn’t look nearly as classy as the company’s cars. The really stupid thing? It’ll set you back ten grand, which seems way expensive for something that’ll be obsolete in six months. Engadget
- Will Chinese Chevy dealerships actually get Corvettes? Well, while nothing is set in stone, but since one was spotted in front of the National Department for Automobile Quality, all signs point to yes. Can you imagine that something built in America would get sold in China? Wild! Winding Road
- President Bush has said that he’s not interested in helping out Detroit. But if Obama winds up in the Oval Office, the Big Three might get some Federal money to help them get back on track. It sounds like a good idea, but I didn’t think the government had any money. Motor Authority
- The new Lotus Evora—previously known as the Eagle—has made it’s official debut at the British Motor Show. But even after seeing all the new pics, I don’t think this car looks good. The Exige and the Elise are so much sexier, it’s not even worth debating. CarScoop

Just because the government doesn’t have money doesn’t mean they won’t spend it – quit living in the reality-based world!
