Here It Is: GT-R in the Hands of the Stig

By John Coyle

Clarkson said the GT-R "corners faster than electricity," and while that might be an overstatement, it doesn’t appear much of one. EMTs from the Fugi circuit—where he was putting the car through its paces—actually had to attend to him after the stress of the repeated hard corners strained his neck. But enough about that—you’re wondering how Godzilla handled the Top Gear track. So how did Nissan’s halo car do in the hands of the Stig? In Clarkson’s words, its performance was "staggering." Enjoy.

i was skeptical, i admit, i hated the car when i saw the concept. I retract anything bad i have ever said about this car. Im genuinely scared of the raw power of this car.

You don’t fuck with Godzilla.
Wait for the V-spec.

I think it’s really cool that it knows when it’s on a race track and turns the governor off.

Extremely impressive, but the Atom didn’t hurt Jeremy’s neck? My guess is it corners better because if I remember correctly the GTR has better accelleration, leaving the only advantage for the Atom being its handling.

That car is amazing… I’m a bit disappointed that it beat out the Carrera GT but the thing is a masterpiece anyway you look at it.
