This letter was sent in reference to the coments below and Mr Weston and Mr Richardson felt that all should see.

Dear Mr. MacDaniel:

I am in receipt of correspondence directed to Little Joes Hot Rod Shop and various blogs and editors disparaging Little Joe, my vehicle and shedding false light. Please be advised that under no terms or otherwise will your slanderous statements, inaccuracies or otherwise be tolerated in your attempts to provide credit to any party or for any other reason, nor are they acceptable in any form.

Whereever you have received your information from, whatever you believe, or have been told, rest assured that it has been distorted and false. You are hereby demanded to cease and desist all communication via blog, internet, or otherwise as to your slanderous and libelous unsolicited comments made by you to third parties including editors of New York Times, various internet sites, and open blogs to the public.

According to business people and other third parties a number of untrue statements concerning Little Joe's Hot Rod, Tod Weston, the good name of the "Hemi" Rolls Royce and its good will and value have been made. Without a doubt, the foregoing unsolicited defamatory statements consitute slander per se and libelous and are actionable in a court of law. It is the consideration of Little Joe's and other damaged parties to bring a claim to seek compensatory and punitive damages for damage to reputation, value, mental anguish and out-of-pocket loss, past and future resulting from your slanderours and libel as well as damage to the marketing of same.

It is strongly suggested that you contact your attorney to better understand the gravaman of the situation. This matter is not taken lightly and be assured that I will prosecute this action to the fullest extent of the law to avoid any further damage or recklessness as a result of some further ignorance on your part.

Sincerely,

Tod A. Weston, Esq.

First of all Shelly, you obviously don't have a clue to what YOUR talking about. You don't know squat about construction of a rod, and you evidently don't know how to read! Look at all the articles on the internet and the videos on you tube. Joe Richardson make the claim he built this car and he makes the statement in quote" I dynoed the motor" and I'm not the only one that seen that motor on Ray Bartons dyno. And as far as the owners concern, he taik to the builder Ernie MacDaniel and appoligized for the misunderstanding the media had portraid Joe Richardson being the builder. Joe may have assembled some parts, but there is a difference between builder and assember. But I wouldn't expect YOU to know the difference. I have every invoice, and pictures in my shop showing the construction in every stage of COMPLETION! The car went to Joe for assembly NOT construction. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

If you got your facts straight, the sign that goes with the car says that Ray Barton did dyno the motor and build it. As for Ernie building the car. The owner gave Joe the credit for the build because most of the work done on the car needed to be redone. Besides putting a chassis under a car does not mean you built a whole car. So the owner of the Rolls is the one that has placed the credit where he seen fit. If you have more to say on this matter give the owner Tod Weston a call I am sure he will set you straight on this matter.

The man that claims to have built this car is Joe Richardson of Joe's Rod Shop out of Denver NC, this guy is a fraud, the car was built by Ernie MacDaniel RaceCars in Davie Florida. I have all the pictures of this car from the ground up. It was my dad who did the whole chassis and the frame rails were bought from Chris Alston and all the components were purchased by Ernie MacDaniel. This guy Joe claims he dynoed the motor and thats a lie also as it was done by Ray Barton Racing Engines.
