Caption Contest: This Week's Winner!

By John Coyle

Editor

We all loved this photo, and apparently you guys did too—just check out the number of comments on last weeks contest! But unfortunately, only three people can get called out, so I’ll get right to it. Our first runner up is JD, who came up with; "Wow! That house really pulled outta nowhere!" And our second runner up is Derrick, who submitted; "If you think it’s funny to see it stuck in the roof, you should’ve  watched it climb the ladder." But XTZTwinTurbo really nailed it with; "Oprah said we would all get a new car. She did not say it would be air dropped!" Tune in tomorrow for the next installment of out freakishly popular Caption Contest!

I love it. The dude below me, Brian, says “Click here for Car Body Kits,” but didn’t leave a link to click. It’s really simple dude, go to the page you want to visit. Then click on the url such that it highlights the whole thing. Then just copy and paste. It’s easy, I promise.

The “true” story of this picture.

CHICKASHA, Oklahoma (Agencies). Chickasha resident James McFarlan, a 45-year-old computer analyst and part-time fabric designer, drove this morning into Annie Svenson’s home roof after what he referred to as an incident with his car GPS. “I told him [Sheriff Furillo] that my GPS made me do it. I was just driving when the nice sexy voice inside the box told me to turn left while I was driving through the bridge on Frisco and 62nd,” said McFarlan after being released by the police. “She was like, come on, do it. Do it! Dooooo iiiit!!!” The next thing McFarlan recalls is 78-year-old retiree Mrs. Svenson in her nightgown, knocking on his windshield.

Shortly after this episode, unidentified federal agents appeared in the area, escorted by a group of US Marines. Establishing a perimeter around the house, they seized the car and took both Mr. McFarlan and Mrs. Svenson into custody. An official written statement, handed to the press on the scene, pointed out that the Pentagon and all the government agencies are taking all precautions in connection to a potential general uprising of GPS machines all over the country.

I agree with the first comment, you guys must not get out very much if you really think that’s funny. I would have to say Derrick’s was funnier.
