I’m Concerned About This Firebird

By Jen Dunnaway

Mostly because it’s been parked in the same spot, on the street outside of HQ, for like three weeks now. I’m really worried that sooner or later, some busybody from the City is going to slap an abandoned-car sticker on it and that’ll be the end of that. It’s a GTA Trans Am with Montana plates, and a "Pontiac-Oakland Club International" sticker in the window—the owner is clearly an enthusiast, and has driven the car all over the West. The car is mint inside and out, but now it’s just gathering dust—what’s the deal? I’m sure we could sneak it into the CarDomain Garage if the owner’s in trouble and needs to stash it somewhere for a bit. More pics below the jump.

What year? CARFAX only goes back to about ‘86 or something.
AND you gotta pay for major details.

Maybe you should Carfax the VIN who knows it could have been stolen and the robber abandoned it

I bet it’s a mint-old lady car. She probably parked, had a stroke, and either died or forgot about it.

As a big Pontiac fan I know that leaving this car outside unattended is a travisty. A good thing though is that aside from being vadelized theres not much that can happen to it sitting on the city street. No trees will fall on it. It would develop moss on the floor boards from sitting on clean pavement.

Its probably someones toy thats unable to be stored in a garage. Im sure his/her Honda Civic is one block away.

damn…. I’ve been wondering where I left my car! Thanks for finding it for me… If you would please ship it to my new address here in Greenville, SC. I’ll foot the bill, of course.

Nice GTA. I agree with TG, don’t leave any note or something that will attract more unnecessary attention. Keep a good eye on it guys OK!

nooooooo! don’t leave a note under the wipers – that’s a sure fire tipoff.

Better to wash it so it just looks like he parks in the same place every day.

please, please… LEAVE-A-MESSAGE-UNDER-THE-WIPER. If you have pink or yellow paper to really get his attention, do that.
-
I suggest you leave a message explaining who you are and that you’re concerned the car will be removed by the city, and that if he is in dire straits to contact you for some possible arrangements so that his ride dosen’t get hooked by some contracted flatbed operator who really dosen’t give a crap how he gets the car on his truck.
-
Of course you’d probably word it a lot better since you’re a writer.
-
That’s a gorgeous GTA. Hope nothing bad happens to it.
