Retro Rides Camaro Headed for Oz

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Those of you who have been following the build of Jeff’s Retro Rides Camaro in the blog or on his ride page may be interested to know that the car is currently on a boat headed for Australia. After Jeff got the car all sorted out mechanically, he loaded it onto a container, along with a ’69 Camaro RS and a ’64 Chevelle. Jeff promises to post more pics once the car arrives in Melbourne and receives its new orange paint and houndstooth interior. But for now it’s bon voyage!

I’m sure you will have a ball cruising around in it! And make sure she has a nice, loud, throaty exhaust – something to wake the neighbours up with when you kick her over in the morning. I live on the Gold Coast so unfortunatly I won’t see her, but if you ever come up my way, would be more then happy to check her out. Keep in touch.

Paint and trim, and hit the road to use it! It’ll get plenty of use once it’s all done. If you are anywhere around the Eastern suburbs, just keep an eye out for it..

Great! Be sure to post up some pictures when she arrives at port in Melb. What are your plans for it once it has arrived, besides a coat of orange paint?

Thanks ! I’ve sent alot of first gen Camaro’s to Oz, but this one is sure a special one. Luckily I go over there yearly, so I will get to see it in person when it’s all done as well.

What a beautiful Camaro. Good to see another American muscle car headed for Oz. We love them overhere, they are becoming increasing popular and it’s great! Best of luck to him and his rides.
