This Just In: New on the Net
So yesterday, I went to record some voice overs for some of the videos I shot while on the Bullrun, and after tripping over my tongue a few times, I nailed them. Hopefully, I don’t sound too much like a tool. Anyway, here’s the news:
- Ok, I realize that on the surface, it sounds like a joke, but there are probably plenty of people that will read a gay car blog. Doing it right could be tricky, but if any publication can pull off "Stick Shift," Vanity Fair can. Jalopnik
- I have to admit, I was a little surprised when I heard that Michael Schumacher had wrecked a Ferrari 430 prototype while testing on the ‘Ring. The official statement from Modena is that factory pilot Raffaele de Simone was behind the wheel at the time of the crash. That’s fine and all, but it would have been funnier if Schumacher’s nine year old had been driving. World Car Fans
- The General is going to let some its minions get a preview of the Volt at an upcoming closed-door session. No word on how it will differ from the one the press and public have seen at auto shows, but if I hear anything, I’ll let you know. Motor Authority
- June wasn’t a good month for auto sales, and unfortunately, July isn’t looking much better. The question now? When will we get some good economic news? And can it be soon? Please? Detroit News
