I like to get my tires used but in good condition, if possible. If not, I’ve bought from tiresdelivered.com. I also don’t rule out Pep Boys or other local chains if I find something good at a price I can tolerate.

I do my tire shopping online at tirerack.com, good deals and their customer service is pretty good. Not to mention the site is easy to navigate and even have a screen where you can view the rims and or tires you want on your ride to give you a good idea of what it will look like.

those keystones are bad ass outlaws. I mean they are outlawed aren’t they? The only wheel in the history of my hundreds of thousands of miles and over a dozen automobiles..I have never lost a wheel but the keystone photo’d. Kinda jumped me to see that 1/8th inch washered tragedy awaiting to happen with the giant superslick to insure it twists it off. The tire pursuit question…I am for tire rack as well. If it weren’t for them, I would not have deciphered my local ripoff tire place.

Isn’t it interesting that you bring this up. Just last month I wrapped some new rubber on my ride as the other ones were, ahem, used up shall we say.

With the advent of the Internet Tire shopping is way easier and way more competitive. It’s great for the consumer who doesn’t have to go to every tire shop in town to get the best price. Still, I find what I like then take it to my Favorite tire shop and he usually beats the price for me, we shake hands, I buy him donuts and he get’s the tires I want for the price that I want.

I do pretty much the same thing. People have to remember to add in the shipping costs when going on Tire Rack. Otherwise your not seeing the real price.

Every time somoene in the family needs tires I make a point to find some in expencive namebrands for them. My grandfather of all people always seems to find them cheaper. He always seems to find discouts and free giveaways that make the tires 40-50 dollars cheaper than I can find them.

My car has had the same tires for at least seven years. I ‘m not sure where I’d buy them.
