LS1-Powered Porsches

By Ralf Becker

Chromjuwelen

The blown LS1 sits nicely in the back of this 911, and weighs less than the original Porsche engine. And the wing houses the radiator! Be sure to check out the same guy’s 914 conversion after the jump. Source: Toy-Jet.com and FullThrottleV6.com.

Me, on the other hand, like them a lot ;)

Hey! Looks like someone put a waste of time where your engine is supposed to go! What happened!?

i’d be interested to see 0-60 and quarter mile times for the 911. I bet it goes like stink.

The 911 is cool, but the 914 is sad. Those things are rare. If he wanted something that size, why not an MR2 or a Fiero?

Not quite a Cadillac 500 in a Nash Metro, but still.

Effort – 8.5
Execution – 9.9
Originality – 7.0

Now all we need is a smart car with an LS1, and then it’ll be true that people put LS1’s in everything.

actually went to a shop out of Las Vegas called Renegade that specializes in this conversion. One of the craziest things ive seen. These little porsches rip.
