Falken Lexus IS350, Now with Chevy Power

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Bob told us this Falken Lexus IS350, formerly powered by a Supra motor, now sports a LS1. We didn’t get a peek under the hood, but noted the dry sump setup in the passenger compartment. More pics after the jump.

All you guys hating on the LS1. ITS AN AMAZING ENGINE. they last, they come stock with more power than most cars and its damn near impossible to blow em. and plus it sounds 100x better than some pos supra

uhm. its pretty much the only v8 with expendible in mind to have as a custom build. It is indeed antiquated. and that crankshaft forged or not is built by satan to boot. It is a step up from the straight six with a turbo, that would be dumber than a transverse inline. I am full of joy with automobiles. Can yas tell? Where is the real Evolution, to create a real Legacy to fly like an Eagle…

…seriously, still waiting for the Smart car with an LS1…

I find it funny how people talk about how “antiquated” the pushrod V8 is, but everyone that talks down about them turns to them eventually.
