Russian Museum of Vintage Rides
We’ve got a club of auto enthusiasts near St. Petersburg in the city of Zelenogorsk who just opened a museum of vintage rides. These guys have done a great job restoring their cars. Club "Retro-Union" began in 1982 with a 1936 Opel Olimpia. For now the club has three major directions–American rides of 50s to 70s, rides owned by famous people from the 20th century, and exotic rides. As far as I know, this is the first museum in Russia that has import rides. I have included photos of some of the club rides after the jump.

I am moving to Moscow soon and want to bring my classic car with me it is a 1968 Fordor Ford Thunderbird that I am nearly finished restoring. Can anyone help importing it and idea of cost from Toronto Canada?

I think You’re wrong, russian classics rides (from 30-50th) are very interesting, such as this limo GAZ-13 “Seagull”

It’s very popular now to have an old classic ride as a “just married”
For example on my wedding we’ve got this amazing 1957 GAZ-21 “Volga” http://picasaweb.google.com/alexander.portnoy/fdjTqK/photo#5090676211117062882

I think it would be a sublime oddity to go to a museum of classic Russian cars in the United States. Is it the same over there?
