This Just In: New on the Net
If this poster is real—and it looks legit—then it’s pretty clear who the next Batman villain will be. While it’s a shame that Heath Ledger won’t be around to reprise his role as the Joker, I think the filmmakers made a good choice as to who the Caped Crusader will battle next. Anyway, here’s the news:
- As fans of Top Gear know, ace test pilot the Stig doesn’t talk. So it was a little surprising to hear that a review of Nissan’s GT-R was posted under his name on TG’s blog. Of course, after seeing what he wrote, it’s not really that surprising. Top Gear
- With all the energy car companies are devoting to green technologies, it seems counter intuitive that Lotus would be developing a new two-stroke motor. But the "Omnivore"—a direct-injection, variable compression engine—will burn anything actually sounds like it might make two strokes a viable option for passenger cars. Jalopnik
- Aston Martin makes some of the most gorgeous cars in the world, and now, the company is looking to build one of the fastest. Only 77 of the "One-77" will be built, and the car will reportedly top out at 220MPH. Auto Express
- Remember that Hertz Corvette which wound up crashing through the front of a Dallas restaurant? Well, as it turns out, it wasn’t the drivers fault. Seriously, the restaurant jumped right out in front of it. Just kidding. CarScoop
- Ma Mopar is closing one of its mini van plants, and the workers aren’t taking it lying down. Today, hundreds of folks showed up to Chrysler’s Auburn Hills complex to protest the move. Detroit News

Poster has been confirmed as a fake. As much as I’d love to see the Riddler in the next movie, the Joker is going to be a tough act to follow. Nolan has a hatred of Catwoman so I highly doubt we’ll ever see her. Although it would be nice to see Angelina Jolie in skin tight spandex and a whip.

Not a bad fake. At this point though any news on a sequel to Dark Knight is pure rumor. Warner Bros will definitely make a sequel, but Nolan is not under contract for a third film and at this point anything regarding future villains, titles, and release dates is complete fabrication. Enjoyed the article though
Would love to see more coverage on the Aston Martin.
