Audi R8 Winds Up in the Drink During Test Drive!

Ever wondered what happens if you wreck a car during a test drive? Well, a 33-year old man in the Netherlands is about to find out. Depending on who you believe, the German supercar was traveling somewhere between 80 and 125 miles an hour when a bump in the road reportedly caused the driver to lose control. Neither the prospective owner or the salesperson presumably riding with him was injured in the crash, but the R8 has been written off. Sooooo… the guy tests drives the R8 and sends it into a lake before buying it? I would’ve at least rolled it a couple times to make it fun.

I literally argued over the speed of a subaru rally car jump: claimed to be a 140mph. My argument? it would have left the road at 80 if to hit a bump that hard upon landing. This photo proves it…the r8 is even heavier.I wish I could show everyone this…
