Grand National was like an American Import, with the turbocharged v6. It will smoke the V8 regal anyday, and was the one of fastest american productions car for a while( or something to that effect). The turbocharged v6 in it was not shitty by all means, and the car is still a beast today. I bet if most people pulled up to one at the light, regardless of what they were in(foreign or domestic), they will give you a run for your money. There is no need to drop a v8 in a Grand National, and I hope you have at least $10,000 to buy even a shitty one. Turbos make anything faster then N/A, you guys can’t even compare..turbos can run many different maps witch are at a disadvantage to a muscle car.. Keep them separated..your just wasting your words…

Hey, subaruteam, I guess the only v8s you can humilliate that way are those old boat cars. I think its the other way instead. your cars gain power until 9000 rpm whereas a good v8 gets continous power from just 1500 rpm, so, you havent reached second gear while Im switching to fourth gear. The only good thing on your impreza is the all wheel traction which helps ya to get a good grab at launch. No piece of %*(#$ 1.8 liters (less than a regular coke eh?) has never smoked me unless its all blown up.

everybody just shut up cause a 4 banger can be as equal as a V-8 … i know I have both. Huge supercharged 4 (350+)and the standard ZZ4 modified (550+) … it all depend on how much you spend. But hard to build a 4banger that have 2000hp to go in a monster truck or to go on a speed boat . Ultimately bigger and stronger it is … more horsepower and torque can be produce and handled. Usually what dictate the size of the engine is the size of the engine bay and the use of the vehicle.
