Imron metallics generally look better than chameleon paint anyway. Mainly because at certain angles, color-change paint looks like they have mis-matched body panels. The more rounded the surfaces of the car, the better ‘Chameleon’ paint blends the colors. Imron is more forgiving when painted on any style of car. just MHO…

It was someones PIMPED out ride a couple years before it got stole and junked out. No biggie.

We painted cars like this in automotive school all the time for practice….the paint was free…..the car is donated…no mystery.

Being a K Car fan, I hate seeing any that are savable being left like the LeBaron or even the Voyager/Caravan next to it. In NE Wisconsin, there are years full of K Cars that have simple problems to fix, and people just don’t want to fix them. I have a ‘93 Voyager with 287K on the clock, that I picked up for $100 as a donor for my ‘94. I put a set of rockers in it, fixed the “problem” it had, and we have been using it to haul hay for the past two years. The ultimate in conservation is saving the ones that have no business being in the junkyards.

i realy hate to see decent cars go to the scrap heap. ill walk the junk yards everyonce in a while and spot some cars tha shouldnt be there, b/c they were impounded r left on the road side never to be picked up. really, its a shame

Yea, that’s a shame. Sucks to see nice cars go to junkys before they get alotta enjoyment outta them. I bet a lot of people think it sucks even to see that Festiva in there, due to it being a nice gas saver.. with gas prices nowadays. It sucks seeing it in there, since you don’t see many of them around anymore. In Massachusetts, alotta cars get junked because they have no title. Now, that’s a waste.

Just a FYI alot of cars that Pick in Pull type places buy are from police impounds, if the car was used in any sort of crime it is not sold at the public auctions and only allowed to be scrapped and never sold again. Its kinda like if you were a drug dealer and you had a tricked out car and you were dealing out of it and when you got out of jail you saw some punk kid driving your whip that you lost you may be kinda mad and make a big deal.

Lol I was there a week ago and seen that LeBaron. I was thinking the same thing. Why would someone pay that much in paint for that car and then junk it. Craziness!
