CTS-V Sneers, M5 and E63 AMG Wince, Cower
By John Coyle

When I was in New York in March, the new CTS-V was one of my favorite cars. Seriously, what’s not to love about a sport-tuned, 550 horsepower Caddy with a six speed? The brand new Cadillac has already taken a blistering lap around the ‘Ring, and now it’s proven that it can best both BMW’s M5 and Mercedes’ AMG E63 in acceleration, braking, and handling. Check out the full review over at Inside Line.

If it weren’t for BMW, neither GM nor MB would even make cars like this. Wait for the new M5 ; >.

Stupidest gas guzzling piece of shit…
If I wanted plastic, I’d buy a normal GM car. Cadillac can’t compare with MB.
This car is junk. Looks like shit, and so what if it has all that power? Its value depreciates worse than a Ford Focus. Sorry, but to compare it with a Mercedes or BMW is just not right. Having owned a CTS-V in the original form for a year, I can categorically say that it was the biggest piece of crap I have ever owned.
The only decent thing was it’s engine. The rest of the car–the way it burned gas, shifted, handled, and braked–was terrible. The car was a rattle trap after only a year, even with low miles and excellent care by the book.
It’s easy to look at a brochure and say what a great car it will be. But you need to own one to really know what’s going on.
Here’s GM, they’ll develop a car that is good in some aspects, but the beancounters make it cheap. You’ll see some very obvious places where someone decided to save a few cents, but it gives an overall cheap feeling to the car.

Also not a fan of plastic covers. I want to see the motor dammit! Auto makers don’t want people to work on their own cars anymore…
Still an awsome car though.

Why is it that all car makers are covering everything up in plastic?
