Little Joey Logano To Take Tony Stewart's Big Seat

By Jen Dunnaway

As you might already know, Tony Stewart is splitting from Joe Gibbs Racing and heading back to Chevies next year, striking out on his own as owner-driver for the team currently known as Haas-CNC. Who better to take his place than 18-year-old Joey Logano, who’s been turning heads this year following his impressive debut in NASCAR’s Nationwide Series back in June? Logano is quite the firecracker, though with NASCAR having finally acknowledged that Toyota is enjoying an unfair advantage (and with Logano’s own Nationwide team having been caught up in the subsequent cheating scandal), it’s unclear whether his early success has been due to prodigious talent or extra horsepower. I guess we’ll know soon enough! More at Scene Daily.
