Russian Truck vs. Toyota Premio

By Alexander Portnoy

ВокругАвто.ru

There was a really bad accident in the city of Irkutsk. A KamAZ truck ran a red light and broadsided a Toyota Premio. The truck dragged the poor sedan about 30 meters until it bumped into the building. Somehow, the woman driving the Toyota survived! Seeing pics of her car, I would say this was a miracle.

Holy shit. I mean really? You all think just because you are supposedly immortal that this could never happen to you, or you have some rude comments about the poor person driving the Toyota. Did you not read the explanation? She was broadsided by somebody. Did his brakes fail? maybe…Did he misscalculate> Could be…
The point is, human error, hers or his was to blame. NONE of us was there. We have no facts other than what we were told. She is lucky to be alive. He is lucky she didn’t die. And it doesn’t matter what she was driving. A Smart car, or the Toyota. The rig was large enough and strong enough to destroy the car. It didn’t have to be a Kenworth to do that much damage.

Of course this post is directed at those who royally missed the point.
A man nearly killed a woman in the accident seen in the pictures above. Miraculously, she escaped with her life. No further details were given.

That guy had to have been going pretty fast to drag that car so far. And it looks like it was in a residential area. That guys in some serious trouble.

I looks to be in a residential area. I wonder how fast the truck was going to cause that much damage?

That was a mid-sized sedan that fit between a Toyota Corolla and Camry.
Now it’s just a shredded piece of tin.

I hope they take midget car builders license for life, that truck wasn’t even in the class 1 weight range. Has every one shrunk to the kamakaze? it saves nothing…

I’ve seen some horrendously wrecked cars from which survivors emerged, but this is one of the worst. This thing is mashed!

WOW! I wonder what side of the car they drive on. Cause if it’s the other side, I’d hazard a guess that it saved her life.
