We have something similar in Oz, but instead of 2-foot tall cement walls we have lots of little 4-inch blocks arranged in a snaking pattern. Surprisingly (or not), everyone actually speeds up to go through them, just to see how fast they can go. Possibly similar problems here?

What would happen if a bus or limo tried to get through? imagine the traffic jams then…

This brings to mind another question. Has anyone other than me speed up before hitting a speed bump just to see if you can catch some air? I did that a few times in a 1979 Buick Century and was actually able to get the front tires off the ground about an inch. Unfortunately it came down pretty hard as soon as the back tires hit and I bottomed out the front end.
