Heldo? Hell No! It’s Way Too Ugly!

When I left the paddock to go grab some lunch, I saw something that made me glad my stomach was empty—otherwise, I might have barfed. Seriously, is the Heldo ugly or what? Even thought it’s sporting a tube-frame chassis, a 350 horsepower Cadillac Northstar engine and its numbers are fairly impressive—0-60 in 4.2 seconds, 12.2 in the quarter mile, 1.06g skid pad—I just couldn’t get over how hideous this thing was. From the front, it really looks like a bucktoothed person squinting. And it’s not that I don’t like hyper-modern designs either, as there are plenty of space-age cars I find dead sexy. What do you guys think, am I out of my mind, or is this baby just begging for a car cover? Three more pics after the jump.

well at least the design is original, it doesn’t really look like any other car on the planet. oh and i just love those rims, unlike the ones on most production supercars.

Some aspects of this design are quite pleasing, particularly the flow of the window cutlines in relation to the lower wedge cutline, and the shaping of the front fenders and rear spoiler. Other parts come off a little hamfisted and sophomoric, like a school kid drawing. Overall, not bad, certainly original, but put better headlights on it. From the plachard it sounds fast.

It’s kind of cool but, with a bit more body work I’m sure it could be smoothed out to look a little better.
Certainly a good start!!

If it didn’t have those fog lights in front it would look much better. And Jhon you fagot, lets see you design something that looks even half as decent as this car, its easy to tarnish on other people’s hard work.

If the front end was modified to look only rectangular or only circular, you guys wouldn’t be crying so much. Seriously, some of the design elements are awesome, it just has way too many of them.
