Lotus Concept Ice Vehicle
The CIV (Concept Ice Vehicle) was developed by Lotus engineers outside of office hours to participate in the Moon Regan Trans Antarctic Expedition. It’s powered by a highly modified BMW motorbike engine and the main body shell has been nicked from a micro-light! It has already been tested up to 85 mph on the ice, and if you keep up the speed it can travel over water, too! Great ride. Fan Sled at 85 MPH it must be very fun. I would rather have a safer enclosed compartment to sit in, with a heater and tunes.

Try googling ‘Aerosan’, which was the Soviet WW2 vintage predecessor. It was powered by a Ford A copy engine and had a machine gun in front.
