This clip was posted by Nes in the comments on an earlier video. It’s more crazy people doing completely ill-advised things on public roads, this time in traffic. At first I thought they had to be wearing those roller-skate shoes, then figured that they must just be trying to invent the single fastest way to wear out the soles of their sandals. I don’t get it—wouldn’t the slightest imperfection or bump in the road surface send them sprawling? Just watch.

Oh I see you posted the video i put the URL for! I don’t think the bumps matter because i saw this video hundreds of times and there’s a part where you can see them go over the bumps that divide the lanes and nothing happens!

NUTS. That is obviously not in Northern New Jersey. Because the drivers around here would be aiming at these lunatics and then if they missed them would be screaming and cursing all the way down the parkway.

its possible, they did a test on tv some weeks ago out here in germany on a test track. they tried all kinds of different shoes and roller skates and found out that on a wet road(like the one in the clip) it is possible to do the with sandles on at a moderate speed.
