ICON LX F
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
After Jonathan Ward of ICON drove a Lexus IS F he began to desire the same kind of refinement and performance out of the LX truck platform. And so this project was born. ICON’s "LX F" will appear at SEMA, with a custom matte two tone gray exterior, some subtle styling tweaks and lots of TRD performance upgrades.
But now Jonathan is in a bind and wants your input! The wheels he originally wanted don’t fit the hub pattern, and there’s no time for custom wheels. So check out the wheel options Jonathan is considering and let him know your preference!

The building will include a glass showroom and service lounge and will showcase a water-saving carwash and detail area. Environmentally-friendly features of the dealership will include low-volume plumbing fixtures to decrease water usage by 30 percent, an insulated roof that has been designed to reduce energy consumption, insulated architectural precast panels and aluminum curtain walls with high-performance glazing. Native plantings throughout the landscape will reduce storm water runoff and volatile organic compounds will also be reduced through the use of recycled materials throughout the dealership.

I want to vote on the wheels, but the site won’t let me log on. Anyway, this is a cool looking LX, but I’m not sure it is “F” quality. I think the “Shine” wheels would go with the overall theme best. My two cents.
