Most Badass Handicap-Equipped Motorcycle Ever

By Jen Dunnaway

Editor

This dude’s pretty hardcore—even his wheelchair looks kind of rat-rod, don’t you think? In the video below, he demos his crazy handicap three-wheeler Harley. It’s got a pushbutton shift that operates the gearbox via an electric motor—there’s a bunch of pics up on his myspace page that show how it works. He lives in Germany and also has a pretty cool flat-back Volvo wagon and a totally sketchy-looking hand-operated bicycle. Way to roll, man!

Reverse gear is pretty cool too – nice bike and wheelchair setup.

I love the attitude that being paralized has not decreased his love for motorcycles. I know a few guys in wheel chairs who would love to have a trike like that.

BTW I have to ask again, can we purge posts like the one from EAT ME? Lame net trolls…

I remember seeing something on Speed Network, can’t remember what show, but this guy in a wheelchair had a real intriguing bike, it was sorta like the sidecar Sara mentioned, accept that it was the bike (well a three wheeler to be precise). I guess you could call it Wheelchair Man’s Chariot.

The guy that lives down the street from me has a motorcycle and the side car is built to hold a wheelchair and has a diamonded plated ramp into it. Its pretty sweet.
