Surprised they don't have the camera car from Batman Begins, they used an ML 63 AMG to make sure they could do the Tumbler scenes at as realistic a speed as possible.

The Porsche 908 used as a camera car in Le Mans, with Steve McQueen. It ran to 2nd place in the 12 Hours of Sebring & was entered by Solar Productions to compete in the race, equipped with movie cameras to film actual racing footage from the track. This camera car travelled 282 laps (3,798 km) & finished the race in 9th position, but wasn’t classified cuz it didn’t cover the required minimum distance due to stops to change film reels. It finished 2nd in the P3.0 class.

Very cool how much stuff the can bolt on to a car for all those great close up angle shots. Another interesting non-movie camera car is the Google Street View Prius.
