This is just F**KIN dumb. When you use your a/c you put a drag on your motor and lose about 15 to 20hp and the intake at the most gives you 20hp so your car would be faster with a short ram air intake than with that dumb contraption. hope you enjoyed wasting your money. STUPID KIDS!

Funny what kids will do. I hate rice. I guess most kids buy cheap japnanese tuners cause they figure they’ll never be able to buy a muscle car. Have I got news. I’m only 20, in the Navy. Maybe I just got lucky, but I just bought an all original 1966 Ford Mustang 289 c-code convertible for $2250. Sure it needs love, but it runs and it has the potential to smoke just about any 4cyl out there. Decent gains can be made with 4 cylinders, but big hp comes with a V8. Anyway back to the main subject. This idea is not new. If you go to Jay Leno’s site and look up the Foose Coupe, you’ll find the engine on that car was placed inside the cabin with it sucking cold air from the A/C.

Okay, first of all it might help if you put the filter in front of the AC vent and isolated the cold air into the filter but then running your AC compressor would give an increase in mechanical resistance which this project wouldn’t compensate for the loss of power. Also, most people who commented on this idea and had something negative to say couldn’t even spell worth dick so before you talk shit, go back to school and learn to spell. As for this “cold air intake” idea, there’s nothing quite like it. Anyone who has the balls to just try it deserves some respect. Civic or not, slow or not, it’s quite the idea.

Just the siphon effect would reduce the efficiency of the engine. Cute as a joke, but a real looser if he thinks it realy works.

Sidenote: Ok the air filter is BARELY inside the car, they have BOTH windows open so the outside air blows the cold air everywhere, the car is moving forward and the air is blowing the opposite way of the car. How the f*ck do they think this filter is getting cold air??? Ricers!
