By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

How about this 800-horsepower Bentley Continental-based Tetsu GTR, built by ASI of Japan? Full details from Toyo after the jump.

Bentley Tetsu GTR

This year, the popular ultra high performance Toyo Proxes T1R takes center stage on an 800-horsepower Bentley Continental-based Tetsu GTR. Built by ASI of Japan, and with only 29 planned for production, this Bentley is truly a rare and distinctive luxury car. ASI, which stands for accuracy, spirit and imagination, is a Japanese company that builds limited-edition luxury classics. Featuring a wide body to cover its 295/25R22 Proxes T1R tires, the car is clad with exotic Nakamura Tetsuei art both on the hood and interior, melding Japanese tradition with modern style.

Dont know about this photoshopped rendition. The grill looks a bit large for my taste. I recently saw the “actual” Bentley they are campaigning throughout Asia. I took this photo at the Tokyo Special Import Show. The Tetsuei art on the car looks really good in person.

I’m confused… is it a Continental, or a GTR?

Love the Grill, However there is too much going on with the rest of this ride.

cars of a given culture are hardly worthy, unless it is good enough for anybody. My point: I kinda like it. I could tell a culture glorified, nothing more.

It’s the most tastefully done tackiness I have ever seen. I’m embarrassed to say I love it, but at least its design was done with a decent budget and the best quality workmanship.

That has to be the biggest nose I have seen in quite a while. At least since I last watched Cyrano de Burgerac.
