Amoco Ultimate Week 10 Winner!
By John Coyle
Editor
In all fairness, if you remember to take the lens cap off, it’s almost impossible to take a bad shot of this vintage of Pony. But we’re not grading photos on difficulty level here, otherwise the guy who took all those underwater shots would win every round. Kidding. Here’s what this week’s winner has to say about his ride:
"I purchased this 1969 Boss 429 Mustang new when I was 18 years old. After 2 1/2 years as a daily driver, 16,000 miles, many in 1/4 mi increments with too many tickets attached, I parked The Boss for over 30 years. I finally got back to it in 2000. With added improvements of 4 wheel discs, power rack and pinion steering, 17 in BFG Radials and a healthy helping of horsepower upgrades,"The Boss" is back. Every time I get in it for a drive now it’s like a time machine and I’m 18 again. 21,000 miles and counting. Gotta go,time for a ride!"
Well put man! It must feel great to have that beast back on the road. Enjoy your $250 gas card, and make sure to take a few quarter mile runs for the editors here at CarDomain!
There are still more chances to win, so if you haven’t already thrown your hat into the ring, make sure to enter the Amoco Ultimate Your Car Is Worth It Photo Contest!

Thanks Stewart,
It’s a blast cruising around in the Boss.
Most folks don’t know what it is but everybody likes it anyway.
Going to a show in Media Pa on Oct 19 and the best part is the ride to and from.
