Forget Undercoating! Rhino-Sprayed A4 Impervious to Everything!
By John Coyle

It’s unclear exactly what caused the owner of this Audi to have the body and wheels sprayed with bedliner, but we can probably assume rock chips drive him bonkers. Two more pics after the jump. via AudiWorld

I have been that frustrated, except I went for some modern 3000psi aviation epoxy that glowed in the fog.

It….looks….plastic….lololololololol Cuz it IS !!
No, seriously. This is a new air flow experiment, like the NASCAR guys in the late ’70’s did.

I have seen this done to a couple trucks before, but each was for an owner of a rhino-linings buisiness. I have seen a yellow one one an early model jeep with a chevy 350 and it looked sick as hell. Still not a fan of it on the car. Maybe if they did it black and skipped the wheels…it would look kind of like a satin finish. Then you could armor-all it up haha. It would probably look pretty badass. I guess i’m just not a big fan of primer grey.

You know what, that looks pretty cool. Would’ve skipped the wheels though.

I’ve always wondered why I’ve never seen someone do this to a truck before, and now that I have its been done to a car? And an Audi no less. ‘Tis a strange world after all, huh!

love it or hate it, barring dents I bet this thing’s gonna look pretty much the same in 20 years.

that’s the upside. I bet a repaint is pretty much ruled out now.

I’d paint my car the red color, like the commercial where they drag the dude behind the truck.

Looks real cool if you zoom out and look at it from a distance – up close, it looks like it was painted on a beach.

I suppose you’d never have to wax your car again then.

Kinda cool. I also wonder how that effects gas mileage because of the increased wind resistance?

I know it’s heavy, but what about the coefficient of drag? Does the roughness really kill the mileage or does it not matter? Either way, it’s definitely *unique*

That…actually seems like a good idea to me. It’s better-looking than my current paint job, at least. Wonder how much it cost?
